Study Tours
Students of all the years are taken on compulsory study tours, one to two weeks long, to places of cultural and historical value. Students are made to understand basic structural built form in a documentation trip held in the first year and are taught architectural history in the tours conducted in the second and third years.
Following are the tours conducted by A.I.A.P.in the Academic session 2014-15:
1st Year B.Arch – Delhi, Bharat Bhawan, Bhopal, Measurement Drawing
2nd Year B.Arch – Delhi, TMU, Moradabad to participate in Sanskarch
3rd Year B.Arch – Delhi, Bhopal, Agra and Jaipur.
Study tours are compulsory and an integral part of the academics. Students are awarded credit points for active participation in these tours.
Industrial and Site Visits
Along with the regular academic program, the college encourages students to have hands-on experience by conducting various site visits to manufacturing units, constructions sites etc. Site visits to various scales of ongoing projects related to the field are conducted through acquaintances to help students gain practical knowledge.
The students in the last academic session were taken to various sites like DS Doors in Faridabad, Brick Kiln near Greater Noida and the refractory of Orient Bell tiles in Dadri.
