Eligibility Criteria
- For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have passed (with/without grace) intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also obtaining at least 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination OR passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject having obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Or Passed 10 + 3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- In addition to the above, the candidate needs to qualify anyone Aptitude Test in Architecture (i.e. UPSEE, NATA or JEE Mains for Architecture) conducted by the Council or by the competent authority of the Central Government or the respective State Government.

Academic Infrastructure
Design Studios
AIAP has sufficient numbers of Architectural studios and are equipped with sufficient number of drawing boards display boards and books. The studios are very large in size and provide the require social distancing in the halls. AIAP also has well equipped lecture halls and tutorials rooms with online teaching facilities along with the other facilities such as audiovisual presentation with the aid of LCD and overhead projectors.
Library
The AIAP library has more than 10000 books including various national and international journals and e-journals; the library is a reparting with large informative database for the research and developments.

NASA Participation
The AIAP is active member of NASA and the students do participation in various comptetive platform and have won laurel in numbur of NASA events.
Hostel
Hostel accomodation is available on single, dubale and tripal accupancy basis both the boys and the girls hostels have common halls, indoor games and a mess along with dinning halls, prefrance for hostel is first given to outstation candidates.
Labs & Workshops
AIAP has well developed construction yard for outdoor “learning by doing” activities for the students. Students have hands on experience by making models in different models in the well equipped model making and carpentry workshop with sufficient tools. The surveying lab of AIAP consists of all the valuable high tech equipments ie Dumpy level, theodolites, prismatic compass, plane table surveying equipments, chain surveying equipments etc Institute has also got well equipped climatology lab photography lab and the material museum lab.
Education Trip
The Students of AIAP every year go to various historical places for the study of vernacular architecture , climatic responsive architecture and the sustainable aspects of architecture.
